“ This restaurant never disappoints. We could not imagine getting on a cruise without having hit up this spot first. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They have scenic options outside, or a large indoor dining area. We were able to spot sea turtles from their pier. Highly recommend the gator bites. ”
“ Great local seafood restaurant to visit if you are in the area. It has a local feel, yet many tourists are welcome. Food: It's a seafood joint and it delivers. The clam chowder is savory and creamy, the gator bites were soft and tender (almost like chicken), the raw oysters were cold and hit the spot, the coconut shrimp was good (but not as good as in Kauai), and the kid's snow crab meal was a unique treat. The food came out relatively quickly for our party of 8 and nothing really was bad. The portions are generous and we ended up ordering their key lime pie to-go. It was still delicious about an hour later. Service: For the holiday season, the service was great. We arrived around 6 pm on a Thursday evening and it was busy. We were told it would be 30-45 min wait, but it was more like 20-30 min. The nice part about waiting is that you can wait in your car, hang out at the indoor or outdoor bar, or take your beverage to the front entrance and wait. Our waitress was very attentive and the hostesses were very accommodating and welcoming. Ambiance: We arrived when it was dark and didn't see any cruise ships, but I'm sure it would be beautiful during the day. The restaurant caters to many age groups and is loud. We enjoyed eating inside because it was warmer and brighter than outdoor dining. Overall, this is a great place to check out if you are in town for a cruise or coming back from Kennedy Space Center. Can't wait to visit during the day sometime. ”
“ Best place around to have your local seafood cooked for you. We did a charter fishing trip and this was the place recommended to bring our catch to have it hooked up for us and they did a great job. We sat on the patio listening to live music watching the birds fly around and got to see one of the SpaceX rockets come back in after lunch. We also had some french fries their Gator bites and the seafood chowder. Not really a fan of Gator bites cuz they're kind of chewy but they seemed okay the chowder was really good. I would check them out for a really nice venue to have lots of good seafood options especially if you're catching your own and want a place that'll cook it for you. ”
“ Well, it was a little chilly out today. But we opted to sit outside on the deck, so we can watch The Other cruise. Ships go by while we ate dinner. We ate some amazing appetizers, loved he fish dip ,wife had oysters. I had some average salmon. Wife loved her jumbo scallops. The waiter was very friendly and he was a gator fan!! ”
“ Looking for waterfront at lunch? This is a nice spot to dine and relax. They offer nice lunch options for good prices and the service was wonderful. I gad fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and my guest had a burger with fries which was cooked exactly the way he ordered it. The portions are ample for the price. Overall it's a great value for waterfront dining. ”
“ The night before our cruise we were looking for a casual seafood place to eat. We happened upon Rusty's & we'er glad we did. Laid back atmosphere with a friendly staff & very good food. This is exactly what we were looking for! As a bonus we got to see a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. An all-around great night! ”
